Leicester City eye Charlie Taylor as potential replacement for Ben Chilwell

Leicester City are monitoring Burnley’s Charlie Taylor as they compile a list of prospective left backs in the event of Ben Chilwell leaving the club in the summer.

The progress of Chilwell, 23, has resulted in interest from Chelsea, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur in the England international.

Brendan Rodgers, the Leicester manager, will not want to lose the defender ahead of what is likely to be a return to the Champions League next season, but as he saw with the sale of Harry Maguire to Manchester United last summer, there is a threshold at which the club will sell.
